Memory Café at The Grand! |

Good evening Resident
Today, PCSOs Spittle and Holmes had the pleasure of visiting the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre to join their South Asian Memory Café session.
The group enjoyed a meaningful discussion reflecting on life's journey, sharing personal memories and experiences before taking part in a relaxing drawing activity. PCSO Spittle also showcased his impressive artistic talent, inspiring participants to get creative and enjoy the opportunity to express themselves together.
With the current spell of warm weather, we'd also like to remind everyone to take extra care, particularly those living with dementia. Here are a few simple tips to help stay safe: Stay hydrated – Drink plenty of water throughout the day, even if you don't feel thirsty. Keep cool – Wear lightweight clothing and, where possible, stay in the shade or indoors during the hottest part of the day. Protect your skin – Apply sunscreen and wear a hat when spending time outdoors. Look out for one another – Family members, friends, and neighbours are encouraged to check in regularly on anyone living with dementia, as they may not always recognise when they are becoming too hot or dehydrated. A big thank you to everyone at the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre for their warm welcome and for hosting such a valuable community session. It was wonderful to see participants enjoying the opportunity to connect, share stories, and get creative together. | ||||
